What does it cost to relocate an employee to Sweden?
Updated
The main costs are the permit application fee, travel and temporary housing, any relocation allowance, and the time HR spends on the case or the fee of an outside provider. The application fee is set by the Swedish Migration Agency; the internal time is where most of the cost hides.
In detail
- Authority fees for the employee and each family member.
- Flights, temporary housing and shipping.
- Expert tax relief can lower the cost of senior hires.
- HR or adviser time per case, and the cost of a delayed start.
