1. What we publish
Settio publishes general information about work permits, residence, citizenship and moving to a new country. We base it on official sources, such as the pages of the migration and tax authorities and the law itself, and we show the date we last checked the facts wherever we have one. Plans, steps, dates and calculations in the app are built from the same information and from the details you enter.
2. Not legal advice
- Everything Settio shows is informational only. It is not legal advice, tax advice or immigration advice for you or for anyone else, even when it uses your own dates and details. Always verify requirements with official government sources before acting.
- Using Settio doesn’t create a lawyer-client relationship, or any other advisory relationship, between you and Settio. Settio is a software company. We are not a law firm, and nobody at Settio acts as your lawyer or advocate (advokat).
- An employer or agency that uses Settio may give you advice of its own. That advice comes from them, not from Settio.
3. Check before you act
Rules, amounts, fees and processing times change, sometimes with little notice, and every case has its own facts. Before you apply, travel, sign or decide anything that matters, check with the authority that decides (for example Migrationsverket or Skatteverket in Sweden) or with a qualified adviser, such as a lawyer who works with migration law.
4. AI suggestions
Some features use AI: reading a document to see which step it belongs to, reading an authority’s letter, finding trips in a file you upload, or answering a question from our help guides. AI can be wrong. Every AI suggestion is marked as one, and you, or the team running your case, should check it against the document before relying on it. No decision about you is made by AI alone. 5. No promised outcome
The authorities decide every application. A date, a countdown or a checklist from Settio is an estimate from the information available, not a promise that an application will be granted or decided by a certain date.
6. Responsibility
We take reasonable care to keep the information correct and up to date, and we correct mistakes as soon as we learn about them: write to [email protected]. What we are responsible for, and what we are not, is set out in our Terms of Service. Nothing on this page limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law, or our responsibility for harm we cause on purpose or through gross negligence.

Allt Settio visar (artiklar, landsguider, gratisverktyg, planer i appen och AI-förslag) är endast i informationssyfte och bygger på officiella källor, med datum för när fakta senast kontrollerades där vi har ett. Det är inte juridisk rådgivning till dig eller någon annan, och att använda Settio skapar inget klientförhållande. Settio är ett mjukvaruföretag, inte en advokatbyrå. Myndigheten beslutar i varje ärende: kontrollera alltid kraven hos officiella myndighetskällor innan du agerar. AI-förslag kan vara fel och ska kontrolleras.
