Pricing questions
What counts as a case?
A person you start an application for: a new permit, an extension or a change of employer or role. You pay once, in the month you open it, not every month while it runs. Family members are free, an extension on a case you already have in Settio isn't a new case, and practice cases are free.
Is it really free to start?
Yes. Your first real case is free, once, and monitoring that person is free too. Practice cases are always free. The 30-day trial includes everything and needs no card; you add a card when you open your second real case.
Why per case, not per seat?
Because that is how agencies earn: per case, as cases come in. A quiet month costs less, and adding a junior, an assistant or a freelancer costs nothing. Your clients' HR teams log in for free too. Settio costs about 5 to 10% of what an agency charges per case.
Do my consultants or my clients' HR need their own licences?
No. Every plan has unlimited consultants, unlimited client workspaces and free logins for your clients' HR teams.
Which agency plan fits?
Pay as you go has no monthly fee: 790 kr (€75) per case and 49 kr (€4.50) per monitored holder a month. Starter is 2,900 kr (€265) a month for 5 cases and 50 monitored holders. Team is 6,900 kr (€640) a month for 15 cases and 150 monitored holders. Scale starts at 14,900 kr (€1,390) a month for 50 cases and 500 holders, on a 12-month term. What does onboarding include?
We move your existing cases and permit holders in, set up your playbook and your price list with you, and train your team. It is paid once: optional with Team at 12,000 kr (€1,100), and part of every Scale agreement at 25,000 kr (€2,300), from 15,000 to 45,000 kr (€1,400 to €4,100) by the size of your agency.
Is there a yearly price?
Yes. A yearly plan costs 10 months' price for 12. Founding customers, workspaces that start paying before 1 January 2027, get 25% off their first year on a yearly plan instead of the two free months. Prices are indexed once a year, with 60 days' notice.
We work under framework agreements with large employers. Does that fit?
Yes, that's how it's built. Your prices per client (including framework discounts) live in Settio, quotes and milestone invoices follow them, and your client's HR team sees progress in their own workspace. With 50 or more cases a month, Scale lowers the price per case, to 290 kr (€27) above 100 cases a month.
Can we resell monitoring to our clients?
Yes. Settio's default agency price list suggests 450 kr per person per month for permit monitoring (you set your own), and it costs you 29 to 49 kr (€2.70 to €4.50) per person on Settio, depending on the plan.
Is there a setup fee or a long contract?
No setup fee on Pay as you go, Starter, Team, Company or Monitor, and no lock-in: cancel any time. Team has an optional onboarding package; Scale runs for 12 months and includes one. You can import your current permit holders from a spreadsheet yourself. Your data stays yours and can be exported.
We're a company, not an agency?
A company's first hire is free, with no card. After that, Company is 3,900 kr (€360) a month for 25 people on a permit, then 129 kr (€12) a person. If you only need monitoring once permits are granted, Monitor is 990 kr (€90) a month for 10 permit holders, then 99 kr (€9) each. If an agency runs your permits on Settio, your workspace is included in their plan.
